So Troy left for Texas yesterday. He's staying with Aidan and Jeremy in Dallas and I am totally jealous! Aidan is MY friend Troy, you goober you! :-)
I'm at home watching Peyton because he just would not be able to handle the non-stop whirlwind that Troy is about to go through in the next 2 days. If you haven't heard, we are moving to Texas at the end of December and Troy starts a new job in January. We are also working on baby #2 which will be arriving in June of next year.
So basically, life is about to get super busy and really interesting in the next few months- new state, new job, new apartment, new church, new friends {hopefully!} and a new baby. As if that isn't exciting enough, Troy is looking at having our first house built while we stay in an apartment in the interim. So this trip is a scouting trip- to scope out a new apartment and to look at which neighborhoods he likes best. If we don't like any of the areas where they're building, we'll start looking to buy. Either way, we'll be in a new place by the 4th of July so we can BBQ to our hearts content next summer!
Meanwhile, I'm all by my lonesome- except for squirt here. Anyone up for some breakfast tomorrow morning at Tiffin Inn? I'm feeling some German Apple Pancakes. Mmmm. Give me a shout if you do- I'd love to go!

I think we all stayed up way too late last night talking. Just wanted to report (as if you hadn't already talked to him this morning) that your hubby is safe and is off scouting now. I'm excited for you guys!
Yay for all those exciting new changes!! Breakfast sounds yummy, but I am going to have to pass. We are going to be up in BR tomorrow with family. Have fun though. Anytime you want to get together during the week, give me a call.
can we come up for the BBQ? Is it too soon to invite myself? :)
Courtney, you guys are invited anytime. Puh-leeze... you don't even have to ask ;-)
Mmmm...German pancakes sounds yummy. Unfortunately, we are P-O-O-R at the moment. Actually until June:) We're eatin' Ramen over here.
Oh wow you are moving to Texas! What part? We live in Fort Worth (Saginaw- actually). Hopefully this means we can hang out.
You're not kidding about the busy part. That's a lot to do. Yippee for a new house and by the 4th of July, nice!
Yay for Texas! :) Sounds like it isn't San Antonio though :(
